difference in intake manifolds

difference in intake manifolds
what is the difference in the intake manifolds that are 87 and earlier on all of the discriptions there is 87 and lower or 87 and later what is the difference. im looking into getting an itake manifold my neighbor has one that he isnt using and will sell but it is off of a 79 chevy so i need to know if it will work or not

It should work. I think it's only the center bolt holes that are at a different angle. You will need to drill them to the correct angle.

and also do you have a picture of an adapter plate to make the tbi fit with the maifold or even tips on how to make one and what to make it with

You can find the part numbers here for all of the TBI adapter plates for, I think, any intake manifold you might have.
