Carb Manifold on a TBI car... which gasket???

I will be putting on a Edelbrock Performer Carb manifold on my 92 Camaro but still am keeping the TBI. I was looking at Fel-Pro gaskets at www.SummitRacing.com and I have two options:

1969-1986, 262-400 Intake manifold gasket set or the 87-93 TBI Intake Manifold Gasket set?

Its a Carb Manifold but on a TBI car? How much of a difference is their in the gaskets?

What about using gasket sealer? Which parts on the manifold should I not use gasket sealer?

Thanks
Jason

I just made my own gasket. Get a big ball bearing, a small hammer, and some gasket material and tap one out. Very cheap, very easy, and it fits perfectly.

I did not use any gasket sealer on mine, and it does not leak.

so has anyone run into this problem before? I could make my own manifold but I would feel more comfortable buying one that fits..........or is that not possible??

Any carb manifold gasket will fit, the ports are the same on the standard sbc 1 heads/manifolds (vortec omitting). Theres not much use in buying the kit though, Id just buy the pieces separate and a autozone tbi gasket kit for $6 i think.

This is a good question, I know for a fact if you install pre tbi intake gaskets on a tbi intake your engine will run hot. The difference is the rear ports. They are blocked with a small hole for tbi and open for carb. I would think since your running a carb manifold that pre 86 intake gaskets are in order.

I just went up to the parts store and bought a Mr Gasket Intake gasket that fits any 265-400 cid V8. I assume that this would be fine?

Well...yes. 87-95 gaskets will fit pre 87 engines and vice versa. The difference is the rear ports, either blocked or open. I feel like you need the pre 87 intake gaskets with the open ports. Surely some of the guys on this board that are running carb intakes with their TBI confirm this.
