track visit

I finally got a chance to run to the track today, first nice weather day at Cecil Cty this year that I haven't been working. Anyway I got there way too late and the place was packed, so I only got one run. The run sucked, 15.6 at 87, I missed a shift. However my r/t was .235!!! Needless to say I was pleased with that at least.

Anyone have any other r/t's to brag about?

Don't take this as a flame, but a .235 reaction time is not good. A perfect reaction time is a .500. Anything less than that and it's considered cheating and you lose.

if im not mistaken last time i was at cecil cty raceway they had moved to the rt to nhra standards and that being a .000 would be a perfect light not like the old system where .500 is a perfect, so that being said i do believe that he didnt redlight but cut an ok rt.....just my .02:lala: :lala:

hmm, could be, I know my local track hasn't done that, but you never know. Either way those are some good times for your mods.

as far as i know, cecil, atco, and E-town have changed to the .000 perfect light, maple grove as well.

I was running at atco today as well, big money weekend there, probalby close to 500 cars in compitition. i hung in there for three time runs. the good thing was the track was very well prepped, lots of vht down, and good weather, made for two back to back best runs just happened to be like hours apart. was cool watchin the pro's go at it though.

I didn't red light which is what was confusing me. I'm going back on Wednesday night and hoping I can better my time into the lower 15s with cool night air. When I'm there I'm gonna ask around about the r/t thing.
