what will moding out my tbi unit do to my torque and horsepower curves ? i want to race this new celica gts and i want to mod out my tbi unit before but i want to know if it will have any adverse affects on my lower end torque or what.

 

it probably will have no effect at all on low end torque. The mods help, especially the aftermarket air cleaner if your using a big block tbi. If most of your setup is still stock, however, the mods alone wont make too much of a difference. Just for reference, i still have my stock air box with my stock tbi b/c i didnt see that much of a difference running without it. Most of the stock components are pretty well mached to eachother.
