which intake? ! no crap need straight answer!
Ok heres what i came up with after my search.
First of all to clear everything up i'm not spending much money on my car and i'm not looking for outlandish power. But i came into some money and bought headers and y pipe!
to go along with my AIR removal I'm going to get rid of MY EGR as well because even after changing the egr i still get the codes! so i figured bad selenoid.
With that in mind... I read people like the performer intake with a TBI adapter. This is what i want now....
I will get the carb manifold because i want no egr.. does anyone think i should just buy the tbi stock replacment and get an egr plate?
also (sorry for the book) is the carb manifold hard to install? do i have to buy brackets and such?
hope to get lots of good answers! thanx

I was also wondering if single plane was overkill for the minimal amount of work I plan on doing. I want the dual plain cause its cheaper lol but if you guys think single is better than I might go for it. no cam swap is in the plans unless my chain goes...(120000 miles and counting)

If I was running the stock cam I would use a performer TBI, but thats just me. It would bolt right up and not hurt your low end power.
By the way, you will still throw a code 32 unless you dissable egr in your chip.

If it were me I would go with either a Performer or a Performer RPM and use an adapter for TBI, they both flow better than the Performer TBI and get somebody to program the egr function out of your chip. Also, as long as you've got the engine all opened up you might as well pick up an LT1 cam for about 35-50 bucks off ebay or something and throw that in, good bang for your buck and time saving as long as the intake is off.

ok i really like the performer RPM intake! thanx for giving a spacific intake! Is there now way then to simply ground out the egr? like splice the wires or something? we'll i guess taking the ecm out and having someone remove the egr program doesnt sound too bad.
as for the cam... i'll look on ebay and see if i can find one that cheap! it might be a very good summer@!

I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure you can't just ground out the egr or something like that. You should upgrade the valve springs too for good insurance. Most guys go with the Z28 springs they're good ones for an LT1 cam's lift. Then just set the valve lash normally, depending on miles you may want to consider changing the timing chain as well.
