new mods: need chip burnt

I recently did a cam and intake swap on my 305 TBI. I knew i needed to get a chip burnt to my mods, so i went to brian at tbichips.com. He was really helpful and a nice guy to do business with, but i had problems with two chips he sent me. I'd rather not pay $300 to have one burnt by fastchips.com, so i thought i'd see if anyone on here knew of any guys w/ their own equipment that would be willing to do it. Thanks

Donnie

I go to college full time and work full time, i don't have the means or the time to get into it. I like working on cars, but computers and stuff really aren't my thing, ya know? All else fails i'll do what i have to do, i just thought i'd ask here and see if another TGO guy would wanna make a few bucks, thats all. Plus, most of the guys here have gone down this road before.

Im not one to bad mouth chips, but even with 1-2 aldl logs I cant really see anyone being too close on a chip at all, no matter who's doing it. Its just so hard to know exactly how much spark is right and where fuel pressure needs to be, pump shot, iac steps and thats just the tip of the iceburg. You can get into the chip stuff for about $220 total for everything new with chips, uv eraser and pocket programmer II. Its a pain, but its worth it and its kinda fun once you figure out a little.

yeah, i was having a blast tinkering with things, and then loggin, that was until my laptop crashed, and then my CD drive died, so i can't reload Window$

i am in for right about $200, and that includes the Moates switchable adaptor, which isn't 'needed' but i figured i could spend my money on the adaptor and use EEPROMs or spend my money on the eraser.
