I was wondering what everybody was running at the track and how much horsepower you all are putting to the rear wheel(s)....I hate having single-traction. And also, how much did you spend to get your car to run what it runs now?!

times in sig are without 1/2" tbi spacer and some needed timing and fuel tuning. My next trip to the track will be memorial day and hopefully ill have some 1.6 rockers installed before then. Im also going to try to lower my times by removing the endlinks and possibly the rear and passenger seats.

i just ran at the track last weekend.
16.16@85.4mph
i had really bad 60' times (2.6), so i am pretty sure i had more in it, i also had a tank of bad gas, so i was only running 2* of timing .
once i get my control arms fixed (i broke a spohn LCA
so i was running 1 spohn arm, and one old factory arm) i would probably bite better.
MODS- 14x3 open element, and timing . . . Centerforce DF clutch, LS1 driveshaft, plus all the suspension work, but that is all set up for road racing, and not for the strip.

Check my sig.
I went to Norwalk for first time this year and set a new best. I'm still disappointed. I was getting too much traction with the drag radials. The car would bog down at launch no matter what RPM I tried. My best run was when the track started to wear out at the end of the day and was able to get a little tire slip.

hey 92 red rally sport
i ran my car over the winterand here is what it ran.
rt.840
60ft 2.32
330ft 6.850
1/8 10.512
mph 66.323
the only mods done is a k/n, Modded air cleaner, gutted cat, 8 degrees of timing.
i think to do the conversion to get a base 1/4 et is times 1.54
10.51X1.54= 16.18 does that sound rite guys
unsure of MPH

This is all by educated guessing.
I street raced at a place that is drawn out for 1/4 mile. I trapped at 100mph. By times, thats probably 13.9-14.2.
As for horsepower, I put ALL my specs into desktop dyno, it said 310hp 400lb-ft at the crank. A power calculator online where I entered my weight (3600lbs) and times (14.1 @ 100) and got 345hp.
Long story short.....I dont know.

i will have new times this weekend, i have to check my plugs, wires and other ignition stuff because i think my engine is missing, its not bad but i can tell there is something wrong. Also ill be trying to get my fuel pressure tuned using WinALDL. The 1.6 rockers didnt make it in time so ill have to install those in the summer.

14.12 @ 98.41mph. Bald a$$ 215 tires led me to a weak 2.22 60' time. Times are pre exhaust cut-out w/ a clogged cat and 2 1/2" pipe, and on a knock sensor that is messing up (it picks up the same amount of knock at x rpm no matter how far i retard or advance the base timing). With Exhaust finally opened up, my trap speed should be 100+mph. Stock fuel pump is pretty shotty as well. Hoping for a 13.4@ 102 next week after I get the knock sensor straightened out and some new rubber.

Guess I can't post mine, cause its a truck, right?
Actually, you're lucky that the moderators of this board are lenient enough to allow you to post here. After all, this IS a third generation F-body site.

Not trying to flame, but I've seen other mods close stuff that was about someone's '95 Monte Carlo (even though it was owned by someone who HAS an F-body and had been a member here for ~2 yrs) because it didn't pertain directly to F-bodies.

Can you guess who that person was?

ZRATED, it looks like you're 60' times are going to drop even lower, maybe to a 1.6 or 1.7, after you stall and torque arm. Do you plan on going to a beefier rear end? How's the current one holding up for you?
