offhand what kind of fuel pressure does you stock in tank pump make, around 17-20psi

 

Iv'e found that the stock tbi pump can make about 18 psi (with no injector firing) But 15 psi is the most I;ve found that the pump will hold when running under load.

reason I asked was Im getting 18-20 psi on my fuel rails on my tuned port injection system, so my guess is, some moron at the parts store gave me a TBI pump instead of the TPI pump LOL get to drop the tank for the second time in 3 weeks for joy

 

Are you sure its not just your regulator, try pluging your return line. But if the pressure was fine before the pump change then it must be the pump.
