hey i want to port and polish my heads?
well i have lo3 5.0 tbi motor and as we all know are heads are crappy will it be good to port and polish then or just by vortec heads?and a vortec manifold?how much power will i see from the stock heads port and polish and how much with the vortec assembly?

TBI heads aren't worth the trouble. If you want cheaper than new heads, check the posts - many are getting #416 heads from earlier models (I just did a pair) - and there are others, like 081's maybe - I can't remember all the numbers - do a search - check Sitting Bull's post on porting and see which heads he chose.

the 416's are from LG4's and L69 engines.
the 081's i beleive are LB9 heads (305 TPI)
