I've tried every aftermarket module on the market over the years. Long story short- they don't do squat. I have run cheap parts store replacements back-to-back against expensive modules like those from MSD, Accell and others. ZIPPO performance improvement. You've gone about as far as you can go with the (relatively) stock ignition. Save your pennies for a full MSD ignition box setup from this point on.

You'll just be wasting your money. An after market distributor will do nothing for hp. Save your money and get something that will actually help like headers or gears.

There is nothing wrong with spending money on underdrive pullies. They have been proven time and time again to produce hp gains. You just have to keep an eye on the alternator, as underdrive pullies are notorious for killing them.......they did mine, while staging at the track Needless to say, I only run the crank pulley now.

Underdrive pulleys are a quirky little mod. On the dyno they usually add only 2-5HP, if that. In the real world I have found they drop ET by about a tenth or more in all or most cases. I have no good explanation but I've found it to be true on well over a dozen different cars over the years.

Not really true. In GMHTP they got a gain of 17 rwhp and 13 rwtq with just a set of jet underdrive pulleys on a 305 tpi. The LS1 guys usually pick up an average 10-15 hp with just the crank pulley and are good for about 1-2 tenths. The only reason I even mention the LS1 is because they seem to have actual dyno #'s compared to others. They are a great little mod that will produce results, contrary to what people believe.

I didnt notice anything when i put underdrive pulleys on. It was a little easier to rev but a seat of the pants difference wasnt there. I found it a waste of money to tell you the truth.
