I put the Ram Air II hood on last week and had some fitment issues due to the previous owner's accident. The front nose was pushed down some and we had to realign it to get the hood to fit. It's still not perfect but looks pretty good for now, until I have some more time to fiddle around with it. I also picked up the Edelbrock 14x3 open element at Pep Boys with the K&N filter for it as well as a chrome breather cap. Here are a few pics of the engine. I'll take some pics of the entire car with the Ram Air II hood also, but I wanna finish tweaking it a little bit. Questions and comments are welcome. Thanks.

Here's the first one.

And the third. You can kinda see where I zip tied the IAT sensor close to the back firewall behind the green plug there.

This may seem contradictory, but I reinstalled my IAT on my open element. Call me ****, but I also KNOW the GM engineers know WAYYYYY more than I do. There was a straight fitting for PCVon the non drop base. I knocked out the straight cylinder and the hole it was fitted into, in the air cleaner's base was a perfect 5/8 inch. That's the size of the hole on the stock POS air cleaner housing. The spring holder from the stock POS fit right in and the IAT fit in just like stock.

Looks good man , you definetely want to keep the IAT in the cleaner, I took mine out and was getting like 8 mpg , so good call there man, it looks good ,now all you need is to clean up a bit get chrome valve covers and a nice looking intake. Good luck.

looks good, but now that you have more hood clearance you should take advantage of it and get a taller air cleaner and an X-stream top might not be a bad idea since you have somewhat of a cowl hood now.

I also just have my IAT sensor hangin on the firewall. Still get great MPG too. I suppose it's best to have it in the air cleaner though. Have to drill a hole for it I guess.

Your setup looks good. Here's mine, made by Specter, with a paper element. My motor definitely runs better, will get the K&N filter one of these days. Also, I used a carb spacer to clear my coil wires in the back, plus I notched the bottom of the air cleaner bottom a bit, so there is no metal near those wires.

P.S. Need to tell the cleaning lady to dust off my mill!
