hey guys ? on a nitrous kit

well seens im gonna put a carb manifold on my engine with a tbi adapter,i was wondering if i could buy a carb nitrous kit which is alot cheaper used and bolt the nitrous plate first on the manifold follow by the tbi adapter and tb will this setup work?

well it might 'work' but the spray bar will not be idealy located, you want it in the middle of the air stream into the engine. i am also not sure if you will have hood clearance for a adaptor, and nitrous plate.

well hood clearnce is not a problem but i wloud like to know if it works good or if i should just save and get the tbi kit?

well you don't need to get the TBI 'kit' you can get a 4bbl kit, and then get a TBI plate. you will then have to rejet the fuel side for the diffrence in fuel pressure between carbed apps, and TBI.

how hard is it to re-jet? i thought the only adjusting on n2o kits is the selanoids i know i spelled that wrong... then again i have no idea.. fuel pressure between tbi and carb isnt much.. not compared to tbi to tpi...
let me know about this re-jetting since this was my idea as well.. get a cowl hood and use a carb kit with tbi adapter..
