Are the 4.3L, 305, and 350 TBI units the same? I worndering if I can put 350 injectors in my 305, that is if they are different. I know that people put higher pound injectors in TPI, LT1, and LS1's, so why not in a TBI unit. My car is a '91 Camaro RS 305 TBI with the TH700R4 trans. I just did the ultimate TBI mods listed on this site and was wornding if this would not benfit these mods even more. Thanks, Bobby

The 305 and 350 injector pods themselves are very similar, if not identical, so putting 350 injectors shouldn't present a problem. However, I don't know that bigger injectors would do much for you performance-wise, at this point.
I do not know the extent of your mods, but you may consider a more free flowing air intake system, headers and rear end gears for more significant performance gains. May also consider bumping the timing up a little (4*-6*).
After that, you may want to look at heads, intake and cam. At this stage, larger injectors may provide performance gains.

the 350 injectors will work but they will more than likely hurt your performance. Unless you have a cam, heads, and intake the 305 injectors will be enough to supply your engine with the fuel it needs. The 350 injectors will just cause you to run rich. If youve already made the fuel pressure regulator adjustable just mess with that, there is a tech article explaining how to tune your car using the o2 sensor.
