Back from track, better times!!!!!!

09/01/03: 15.018 @ 90.22 w/ 2.105 60'
09/17/03: 14.791 @ 91.11 w/ 2.068 60'

between 2 runs:
Elgin 1.6 stamped steel rocker arms
from 6* to 8*
underdrive alternator pulley

this is all with stock heads, cam, intake, and tbi.

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK, IM EXCITED!!!!!!!!!

I cant wait to get the ProBuilt Street Strip tranny and ACT 9.5" 2400 stall torque converter installed, currently sitting in my garage, but i have to wait til christmas break, stupid college.

Very nice times. I am excited for you as well. Good job. You should be able to pull atleast mid 14's with the stall.

Very nice. Were the weather conditions worse the 2nd time? I would assume that the rockers would have given you some good hp, but there's no sign of that in your mph - if it were me I'd blame it on hot air

it was a few degrees cooler that day, also i messed up in my previous post

my previous best trap was 90.22 MPH
my trap when i ran 14.791 was 91.11 MPH (best 60')
but my best trap of the night was 91.98 MPH (14.896)

Your car is automatic right? Are you manually shifting? and if so, at how many RPM's? I went to the track and didnt run very good times, but i found out i was shifting too high. I am going to go back after i get a new chip and advance my timing a little bit.
