I have the tpi air cleaner set up, so this may work when I figure out what I'm going to use to enclose the tbi.
I know the pic is junky, but the way I figure it is even if the boxes aren't all that pretty, it's still probably better than I could fab up. And $45 really isn't too bad, I'm sure I would spend that if I fabbed my own anyways by the time I purchased all the proper tools.
Anyways, hopefully ram air is not too far around the corner.....

Yeah, they have been debated over on the tpi board, some say they work great, others say they felt nothing. I'm thinking they may actually work with tbi better than tpi because there will be less turbulance do the longer velocity tube we can run. It should be here in a couple of days. I'll be sure to let you guys know how they fit

How has it worked out?
r90camarors,
Have you installed the RAM Air System you got from Ebay Yet? How did it work?
If you get the chance could you PLEASE share pics of the installation?
I am looking to do something like this but ducted into the Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner I just bought off Ebay.
Thanks!

Well, I have the boxes attached to the tpi air cleaner, though I have yet to fab anything to fit over the tbi to complete the ram air.
As far as quality goes, I guess it's not bad for $45. However, the design is not all that great as the openings do not fully fit behind the z28 grill, thus leaving open areas. I also had to use sealant on every edge and corner, as there were small gaps in some places where air could slip out. I really like Swerve-Driver's, as he fabbed his much better than the boxes I got off ebay. I will see about getting pics soon though
