Wire connector just chillen there???

There is a connector in my engine bay that I can't figure out where it goes. It is a small black round cylinder shape and it goes back to the firewall into a small box on the passanger side. I have taken my TBI off and put it back on but all the things are attached. Anyone know where this goes??

Are you getting a check engine light? If its near the blower moter it could be your esc connector.

Tan wire? ESC. Should connect to a similar tan wire with yet another cylindrical connector, which should just be able to reach the first one when both connectors are popped out of the conduit

No the whole wire part is black. I have looked around everywhere and can't find a place for it to connect to.

theres sometimes wires there that dont get pluged into anything, i noticed it when I had my LO3. I think its something alongs of the line of the factory using them to test things. I dunno, correct me if im wrong.
