Idle Vacuum Values
What kind of vacuum numbers are you guys pulling? I just put my car back together and it's reading around a 68 count (38 KPa). It was at around 220 idleing
, and was throwing the high MAP code (33?), but I tightened some stuff up and it went down to what it is now. I have an LT1 cam and a Edelbrock 3706 Intake.
Thanks
Tony

WinALDL - 26.8 kPa on startup. It was at about 1200 RPM. I don't know if my engine is a good one to base values off of though
220 kPa sounds kinda high

Haha, yeah the 220 is a little high! Actually that is the raw value, not the value in KPa, I'm not sure of the conversion. I tightened some stuff up and double checked some hoses and it's down to about 35 Kpa at idle, not too bad. I think because of the cam and intake it'll be a little bit higher than the stock "cam" (if you can call it that, it's more like those cardboard tubes in paper towel rolls, no lift at all!)
