vats question

once the vats has been engaged(car wont start) how long does it stay engaged? asking because once mine has disabled the starter, i can wait about 1/2 hour and it will start. is there a predetermined amount of time that the vats will keep the starter disabled?

It takes about 4 to 5 minutes for the timer in the VATS control module to reset itself before it will allow another attempt at starting.
