lean truck tbi
this is my tow vehicle so i don't know if you guys can help but i'll tell you whats going on. i've got a 90 suburban witha 454 and tbi. i added a holley cold air kit and removed the cat.it seems like its running lean on part throttle. i pulled a couple of plugs and they are white. can i remedy this?

Sorry to get off topic, but does your truck have a smog pump under the AC unit on the passager side of the motor? Thanks, Bobby
About your problem sounds like you need more fuel pressure by making your regulator adjustable(look in the tech section about the ultimate TBI) or some chip tuning. Check out http://www.tbichips.com for a custom made chip.

Engines running near stoich always seem to leave a real lack of deposits on the plugs. Mine does. Theyre sparkling clean. Check the fuel pressure to make sure the pump isnt dying as well as the blms/02 if you have a scan tool available.
