He-he. They sell 'em at AZ, but I'm cheap.

Pull-a-part has a yard full of them.....and wrecked cars were usually running when they wrecked!

If you decide to go to a junkyard for it, I have a bit of advice.

All you need is a "star-bit" screwdriver(T-20) and a flat tip screwdriver to pry the injector out.

Find a car that looks as though it was well maintained and, preferably, wrecked in the front.(this means it was running well when wrecked )

Now, remove the top of the TBI. Once you pry out the injector, be sure there is no trash in the fuel resevoirs. If the resevoirs are clean it should be a good injector. Look closely at the "O" rings for damage...If they appear in good shape, hang onto them!

As far as leakage in your present ride....I'd almost bet its' your "O" rings and not the injector.

Its' been my experience that I can buy several injectors at a junkyard for what one will cost at AZ.....and the Safari is always fun!

Actually....I'm 4 good ones on 4 tries, so far!

Happy hunting!!!!!!

The last couple I got were under 10 bucks......seems the folks around here don't know what to call them!

In reality....I don't know what they are really worth......I just know what AZ charges for them!

AZ can actually be a really cheap place to buy parts (minus A/C). I used to work for Chapman Chevrolet and getting parts for my Camaro WITH my discount was friggin DIRT cheap. (All you have to do still is just go to a parts depot and tell them you work at another one of their dealerships, I didn't tell you that!)

I have to agree with Fairly Strange that it's more than like just your o-rings causing the leakage. I thought I needed new injectors for mine at one time, and it just turned out to be bad o-rings. I'd make sure this isn't your problem before spending any money on new injectors.
