Cam Question Need Help

Cam Question Need Help

In the new Summit i got Edlebrock lists a cam for the 87-95 305-350 TBI engines.my question is seeings they list it for the TBI engines does it still need a custom prom for the engine to run right?? Any and all help is very much appreciated

that cam is no better then stock and its flat tappet, if u want a nice cam look into the lt1, theres a sticky on the top

Edelbrock cams are very weak and not much bigger than stock. Because they are so mild you can get away with the stock tune. A custom tune would take that cam even high but you won't have any drivabilty problems with them. Not worth the money if you ask me.

stock replacement cam. any cam healthier than it may require a programmed chip.
