if you get a 1" spacer u might have problems connecting your fuel lines, throttle linkage and your TV cable. I had no trouble on the other hand putting on my 1/2" spacer.

The injector spacer is an easy mod and just lifts your injector pod up a bit. This helps un-shroud the TBI bores a bit. You may also want to do the ultimate TBI mods now as well. Both can actually increase the cfm of the TBI a bit for practically next to nothing. You will benifit more from the injector spacer than the TBI spacer. You will not feel the difference but it will help a bit when you have other mods that require a higher flowing TBI unit. Does it come with new screws? If not I do not think the stock screws will be long enough.

Guys be sure to check those screws as they can make for a bad day once they get loose.

I just installed a TB spacer (1") and a injector spacer. With the injector spacer DON'T TIGHTEN THE ALLEN SCREWS TOO MUCH it will strip with just hand tightness.

As for performance gain... I noticed more low end torque but less high end, better trottle reponce, tranny shifts at different trottle positions than before(bad) but doesn't have to shift to get going faster(good), doesn't fit under air cleaner.

you need to adjust your TV cable to get your shift points back to where they used to be

dont expect to shave any time off your ET, the tbi spacer is maybe good for 1 HP.

I agree. Plus I bet your TV cable is off and that is effecting your shifts like vgo mentioned. It is very easy to missalling and stretch the TV cable and throttle cables when adding spacers. I had a hard enough time getting my .5" to work.

I agree with the rest of the guys, you probably won't gain much if anything. I only installed it to get rid of that 1" round spacer above the TB and to go with my cold air intake that I'm building. All are just things that add a little bit and perform better than the stock setup.

As for the TV cable do I adjust that on the tranny end?

The injector spacer lifts the injecotr pod up off the TBI unit a bit and helps unshroud the TBI bores. The TBI spacer lifts the TBi unit as a whole up off of the intake manifold. This helps increase the plenum depth of the intake manifold and will create more power. However, they don't really add power to a TBI set-up but do work well on carbs.
