350 TBI question

can anyone give me an estimate on what kind of hp and tq ratings I should be getting with a 350 TBI with basically just flat top pistons, a mild edelbrock cam, and flowtech headers(I know flowtech isnt that great but my brother bought them for me as a gift so I cant complain)? I was going to put a TPI system on it but I didnt have everything I needed the day I had my brother and my dad to help me put the intake manifold and everything in...so we just put the old TBI system on. so I'm just wondering what to expect for power for now

honestly I can only tell you that the heads are off of a 90 350 block...and my brother bought the cam..and he's not here at the moment to ask...but from what it sounds like its only a little better than the stock cam...more for torque...sorry I dont know much about this stuff, my brother rebuilt the engine for me....I just put everything in the actual car.

Depending on the cam and how well you tune the chip in the car you are looking at anywhere from 200 to 250. You are going to need larger injctors and a custom prom to make it all work. Don't forget the little things like a 350 knock sensor, and ignition modual.

Well your best bet is to use a set of inejctors found off a 350 TBi car out of a junk yard. The 350 TBI has the same TBI unit as the 305 but uses larger injectors. As for the rpom, you really need to burn your own. If you cann't fathum that right now you couls always buy an off the ehslf one from places like www.tbichips.com. They will be able to get your new motor up and running with the added displacment and injectors. with good drivability. A custom tune will get every last hp out of your new combo. It is really easy to do and a little research on the DIY PROM board will make you smile.

I know Injectors for the TBI are probably expensive brand new, but do you know a good place to buy them, would autozone have the ones I need, I'd like to get 65 lb injectors....also thanks for the webpage for the chips, I think I will probably end up buying from that guy.

Autozone will have them but they will cost you an arm and a leg. I would call your local junk yard and see if they have any or browse around on ebay. They are always popping up there.

I got another guy interested. If that falls through, I'll sell em to ya.

They are 350 injectors for sure, the car would not run on my 305's and they were off a 350. Whether or not they are 55's or 65's, I donno.
