my guess is it would 'fit' on the stud, i am not sure how well it would work for performance, or if it would be located in a good spot for it to travel into the engine.

thats my thought too... i was hoping someone has done it by now (and is willing to post it)
i got a bottle for free (woot) so i figure, why not a small 75 shot on the TBI...
thing is, i dont have the hood clearance for a nitrous plate under the TB... so i figure a topshot system would both fix that, and look pretty stock..
i mean, if i cover the braided line with rubber PCV line, it'll look like some emmissions stuff...
not for street racing... but just to save the embaressment of having a low 15 - high 14second nitrous car.. lol

I've always wondered this too. It cant be as effective as their other systems, but its considerably cheaper. $489 on summit. Heres the link, im interested in knowing if this works.

Just thought of this, I dont think it'd flow in so well because we have injectors over the bores where as carbs dont. I'm sure those would screw with the flow considerably.

it has two 90* bends in it.. making if offset.. not straight over the bores....
however.... if you think about it, its still going to be pulled into the motor anyway.. you misting it 2" above the throttlebody isnt going to stop the motor from sucking it in.
my only worry would be if there is somthing directly under it that the fuel would puddle in....
but if it works, it would be a TBI blessing...
so anyone going to try it? (or have tried it?)

Maybe you could just buy the TBI kit parts that you need. I am not sure if they will sell it to you separetly but its worth a try. What are your hood clearnace issues? I cannot remember what intake you have.

i suppose one of my other options is to just use a fogger kit and plumb it in just below the TBI on the intake. but they cost more and arnt hidden... not to mention, it would be coming in from one side....

i think i'll jsut sell the nitrous tank and continue with my main project.. the eaton blower/MPEFI swap.
with current cash flow, motor wont be in until the end of summer, so i was just looking for a quick way to be a lil faster this year....

if you want to get risky (and/or ghetto) you can try to drill out a straight hole across the intake manifold and fit a NOS spraybar in there. I've heard of people doing it at least, I know machine shops can do it. This way you could pay for a cheap "universal" kit without the plate, and then mill the manifold yourself.
