bye bye LO3 :(
well guys today i was starting to rebuild my LO3.. planned on putting 305tpi ported and polished heads, lt1 cam, edelbrock intake, open element, timing chain.. blah blah blah.. to make a long story short i almost had the heads ripped off and i put it on the lift to get the maifolds heated up to get the bolts off and i found something ugly... a nice big crack in the block
so now i get to wait another 2 or 3 weeks and buy a 350 tbi. makes me sick.

good thing you caught it before it turned into a bigger problem on the highway.

Yea its a good thing that you caught that. Did the enigne run poor prior to the rebuild plans. It sounds like a blessing in disguise though because 45 more cubes are always better and yu can use the same parts you had stocked up for your 305.

car ran beautiful.. sat for the winter (think thats what the problem was) didn't check the anti freeze maybe it froze up? during winter i had to keep putting anti freeze in the radiator so i think i had the leak then.
