engine stalls at idlle/ hard to start

engine stalls at idlle/ hard to start

my 88 camaro started stalling durring braking and now it's almost impossible to start, i put it a new i.a.c. valve new pressure reg, fuel pump is putting out 16 p.s.i. and when i try to start it no fuel will come out of the injectors. i checked all vacum lines. i don't know what else i can do. please help!!!!!!!!!!

Well if you have 16PSI at your feed line (assuming you measuered it from there) and you don't see any fuel comming out of your injectors than your problem is somewhere between the two. You said you replaced the pressure regulator? What did you replace it with and did you use the right spring that goes into it?

the pressure was measured from the feed line. and the return line seams to be under preasure as weel. it seems like my injectors just aren't opening to allow any gas out/ some time i can get it to start it will run fine until the idle speed drops, then it will die and be almost impossible to start again

i replaced the reg with a brand new spring/reg from autozone. i started making replacments after the problem came up, so what ever i've done hasn't fixed it.
