Fuel rail going to TB

As I was replacing my EGR valve on my L03 the other day, I noticed that one of my metal lines going to the TB was twisted and kinked up pretty good. It is 1 of the 2 going into the back side of the TB (it's the one on the passenger side). It's right where it attaches to the nut-like piece that screws into the TB. Could this be a problem at some point? If so where can I get a new line?

A kinked fuel line can deffienately be a problem down the road. The eaiset way to replace it is with the stainlais line conversion. I will have to get you a link on that one. You could try a junk yard and see if you can pull one off a wrecked car. I cannot remmeerb if the one you described is the feed or retrun line. Is it the smaller of the two? If so that is your return line.

I have that same kink in my line! I have it in my return line & the kink is right where the fitting is attaching to the TB. I noticed it while taking off my TB to rebuild it & install the GM vafpr. I think the previous owner took the line off & just twisted the line fitting without securing the fitting attachment on the TB. Then TWIST! So I'm checking out the junkyards for a replacement. Oh, & the one on the passenger side is the return line.

Thanks for the quick response. I figured that's probably what had happened, that someone just torqued it before screwing it into the TB. When I asked the guy at the parts stores I called, they didn't seem to have any idea what I was talking about. So, I guess I'll hafta take a look at the salvages.
