after cam and head swap????
what should i be getting after cam and heads swap im using LT1 cam and 416 heads with 1.94 intake and 1.64.and z28 springs.what else do i have to get to run open throttle with out back fireing.what should i be running in the 1/4mile with stock 2.73 open rear end.Also the 700r4.i plan to either get 3.73's or 4.11.

the equipment to tune it.
i am guessing the back fire is when you first mash the gas, in which case you need to richen things up, and give it more pump shot. with a combo like that, you will need quite a bit of tuning.
you will probably want a converter, but the LT1 torque curve seems pretty flat. but i am guessing a higher stall will still help.
gears are of course a given.
