VAFPR does well!
Well, after the headers I knew I was running a little lean, because even though I could tell she was breathing A LOT better, she was entirely too lean up top.
So I installed the VAFPR from TDS and man does she pull, especially all the way to the limiter.
I've got her set for 9.5 psi at idle and 14 or so at WOT. I really couldn't tell a difference at idle, but past 50, she doesn't stumble when I get on it anymore.
to TDS and Lon.

Is there any benefit of having an aftermarket one to doing the free mod? just curious...

Either way, I'm happy with the mod.

EDIT: I missread your question. I gave you the advantage of the vacuum one over another style adjustable unit. Well the aftermarket ones are a bit more tollerant to high FP demands that aftermarket pumps bring. The modified stocker can be used but an aftermarket one yields more precise adjustments. The modified stocker is a shot in the dark.
