MAP Hose and Vortec Air Gap

Hi,

got my engine running but it has a very crappy idle.
i have connected my MAP to the backside of the TBI. But it was original connected to the manifold.

I only have one connector for the manifold vacuum at my air gap which i have connected to the brake booster.

winaldl says i get only 60-65 map at idle. when i rev it a bit it goes down to about 40-45.
so i think the engine gets the fuel and spark as it where at a higher rpm. i also get a lot of knock counts at idle.

can someone with an airgap tell me how you connected the MAP?

thanks,
nebu

you could run a T to the manifold and run both the map and brake booster off of it.
