Could this also be a problem

I know for sure that my cruise is not working properly and thanks to all the help on this board I have realized that it is a vacuum leak but I can not find it. Anyways my question is that could this vacuum leak cause my car to idle roughly, because as soon as my cruise quit working my car began it idle rough. How exactly do I find a hose or a component that is causing this vaccum leak?

A vacuum leak can cause a rough idle. It can also cause a surge or high idle. I would trace all of the 5 vacuum hoses that come off of your TBI unit. Make sure none are cracked or split or loose. After that make sure that your TBI unit is seated propely on the intake manifold and that none of the bolts has worked their way loose. You can also spray some soapy water around the lines and base of the TBI and look for bubbles. A mechanics stethescope can also be used to listen for vacuum leaks.
