94 Suburban 5.7L TBI - Roller rocker ?'s
Yes I searched, and read posts back a couple years...lol I've tried a bunch of other forums too with no luck, and I figure y'all are the best on TBI knowledge, so even though the motor is a little different than yours, here goes.
94 Chevy Suburban with the 5.7L TBI engine. I have a set of Scorpion 1.6 self-align roller rockers 3/8" Chevy made for this engine. My question, is can I install these without changing anything else? I know it would be good to use new springs, but what all parts do I HAVE to change, if any?
Thanks for any answers!

you should be fine using the stock valve springs, im using 1.6 rockers on my L03 with 160K miles without problems. Its only about a 7% increase in lift.

What heads came on the 94 5.7 TBI's? I know they quit using the TBI in cars after 93, but my knowledge of the truck options is limited. I would imagine it's just an LO5, but I'm not 100% sure.

only issue might be if the factory rockers are non-self-aligning, if you use the heads as guides, you cannot install SA rockers.
