S/R Torquer heads
Will the regular 67cc or 76cc Torque head fit on a 305, or will I have to buy the torquer 305 set? The only thing I see is little bigger valves and bigger combustion chambers.

if the valves are too large, it won't. i beleive 1.94/1.5 will work on a 305, but it would all depend on where they are located in the chamber.
you WILL want a 58cc chamber, witha 70cc+ chamber, you compression will be horribly low.

i bought these from a guy who ran them for less than a thousand miles. he hadn't checked his clearances and bent two valves, broke pistons, etc. he went ahead and put a 350 in the car. he said he had them checked out by a machine shop and they were ok, but i went ahead and paid 50 bucks to have them magnafluxed and checked out by my machinist, just to be safe. he says they're in great shape, no damage to the guides and seats. he also says it looks like they've had a pocket port done, but i haven't been able to get ahold of the guy i bought them from to confirm. i'd think the machinist would know, though, he does a lot of head porting himself.
they're the pre-87 bolt pattern.
i'll try to post some pics this evening.

I like my pre 1987 heads, I have alot more choices when it comes to intakes, valve covers, and roller rockers then I did with center bolts.
