Now obviously it's marked as a system for the trucks, but w/ the exception of hood clearance, this thing should work right? You could take care of some of the clearance issue if you have a cowl hood, but what about the supercharger itself? Would the slope of our hoods be too great for it to fit?

Damn it, I want one. :hail:

Fitment issues aside it is really hard to tune a forced induction TBI set-up. There are many old threads dealing with this super charger. I will dig some up.

Well I remember the old threads, but this is a new product. That's why I'm posting it. According to the parts list; "1 Fuel Injection Computer" is included.

They might have figured it out for those of us who have 350 TBI's.

Doesn't have an inter/after cooler. Not worth it to me for the money.

I'm sure that they'll eventually put one out for it. They have them for just about every other application they have.

point taken

Still though, I find it fascinating that the possiblity still exist if any of us wanted to supercharge are vehicles, w/o going through the hassle of customizing.

procharger advertises theirs for TBI truck. offers a low clearance pod for TBI interface. it would appear you gain clearance. intercooler is optional. recommended current HP 175-375 and will boost up to 725, retail is $2000.

I believe the V-1s is a cintifugal blower so hood clearance will most likely not be an issue. Unlike the roots style blowers that stick up 9". This unit uses a "bonnett" that goes over the TBI unit if it is a cintrifugal blower.

Would a Stock 305 be able to take the added boost or would an engine rebuild be required prior to droppin that bad boy on.

I always wanted a supercharged car.

This is probably the same "fuel injection computer" that came with my kit (yet to be installed).

It controls the 2 additional injectors that mount below the TB in a plate.

Hmmmmm

Well the Holley commander950 TBI setup is Working so far with the dual procharger's on the AMX's 390...

I ran a base C/r of 9.00:1 now with 9psi Boost I now Have 14.62:1 c/r i wounder if i'll notice the difference over the Non boosted 12.75:1 c/r it used to run the 9.60's with.
Think i can hit the 9.20's now....

Well anywho i wounder can i run a Dual procharger setup on the 91 GTA's 406??
Rund like a base c/r of 7.75:1?? I want the finale c/r to be like 10.5:1 or 10.75:1 somthing that"ll run on 93oct.

or would be better off with the 10.5:1 base c/r with no boost??
