New Great Track Times!!!

well the previous time for the 1/4 was 15.6. Heres the new BEST!!

R/T: .056
60' 2.208
330' 6.339
1/8 9.792
mph 71.15
1000' 12.774
1/4 15.313
mph 88.71

all of this is with an LT-1 cam, headers, stock exhaust, open element, timing advanced 7*,shift kit, corvette servo, AND NO TUNING!!!!!!!! i need to get this thing tuned!! just imagine what it would run with a good tune!?!?!?!?! basically its a stock TBI car. im happy with those times.

you're getting there,

i wouldn't consider a cam swapped car, 'stock'. with you only trapping at 88mph, you really need tuning, that cam should have you trapping in the 92+ range.

Tuning, catback and a manifold swap would be the least you should do.

my best estimates have me close to that on stock engine w/ full exhaust. I bet you drop almost a half second with tuning. What altitude are you at? Time for new heads/intake to really wake that cam up. good times though.

yeah i need a good tune and ill be in the 14s for sure. The car stops pulling as hard at around 3500-4000 rpm. I need a tune but i know absolutley nothing about it. I think ill wait untill i get my GOOD motor to call it quick.

You should see some serious improvement when you get into chip burning. Keep an eye out on your fuel supply though. You may not have enough up top.

thats what i was thinking BUT, It has the stock injectors, pump, and lines. I havnt changed anything of the fuel system. Or are you talking about when it gets tuned?

I am talking about WOT fuel demand in general. That will come more into play once you play with the prom and adjust your fuel tables and such. There is another thread here where we are discousing it. It may not be the norm to have a high flow pump with heads and cam, but I think it should be. It just makes thing easer in the long run.

a buddy of mine put headers on his RS way back when and left the rest of the exhaust stock... the car got slower lol

Ill never forget the difference I felt when he put on that Iroc I pipe (not even 3 inch!) it was a HUGE difference.

I suggest doing the rest of your exhaust.
