Wot Tps %

What tps % are you guys getting at WOT?

Is there a min % that the ECM recognizes as WOT, or is strictly by MAP?

there is a setting in the 8746 for %throttle to enable PE. i would assume there is one in the 747 also.

BTW, i get about 102% when i go WOT. the PE Enable % is set to 50 in my chip. HTH

Reason I ask is that I have a bored out TB.

After looking closely, the blades weren't traveling to full vertical at WOT. At this point, I was only getting 88% TPS.

I have filed the pad that stops the throttle movement. I now get true vertical on the blades, but still only get 92%

Thanks for the replies.

I was just concerned that it may affect my WOT performance.

If not, so be it

Actually having it by map wouldnt be a bad idea if there wasnt the possibility of fluctuating vacuum causing it to duck into and out of PE... I set my PE enable to 35% tps with the holley. Right around there is where the MAP is around 70-80 kPa so it seems like a good place for it.

The only thing the ecm uses the TPS for at WOT is generate the PE AFR. If you see your commanded AFR matching the PE AFR your there. But, less then veritcal will deflect the fuel with a bias to which ever way the blades are pointing, so you want them to open fully.
