Track Times
Ok, guys, a bunch of thirdgen guys in my area rented out Route 41 dragstrip for the day today so I went and actually ran my car for the first time. It wasn't a great day though; it had rained earlier so it was really hot and really humid. Lady in the tower said the track temp was 118* Crazy Hot. Everyone seemed to be running slow so I guess I'm content with these times, here's the best run:
Reaction............832
60 ft..................2.251
330 ft................6.546
1/8 ET...............10.082
1/8 MPH............69.64
1000' ET...........13.142
1/4 ET...............15.72
1/4 MPH............86.92
There they are, let me know what ya think.
ps. Prominator didn't show up yet so I couldn't do any tuning at the track which would have been nice.

None, it's all stock except for the flowmast muffler, open element and 3.42's; and I was beating all the other TBI cars by a lot (like .6-.8) Consistently beating another TBI car that had headers and full 3" exhaust and an Edelbrock intake by a full second. So I was pretty happy with what it was doing.

hehe Let's hope so Shifty. I hope that Prominator comes soon, Bruce (aka Grumpy) was at the track day and said those guys were waiting on parts to get there so they could send out the next shipments. I was hopin for real low 15's though, maybe if the track conditions were different. The guys with big power motors were saying that the track was like they were ice skating down the quarter.

Nice times man, especially for the mods. Are you still getting knock counts off the wall? I bet you'll see real nice gains after you get the prominator set up.
