vortec heads

vortec heads

im running a 350 tbi and came across a deal on vortec heads with the edelbrock rpm intake. can i run that carbed intake with a tbi adaptor and still have my egr working and what ever else bolts on to the intake to work???

The heads do not have internal EGR passages. If you want to run it you will have to run an external EGR. You will need massive amounts of chip work for this combo so you would be better off just deleting it from the chip. Try a few searchs for EGR and vortec heads along with the vortec TBI combo. There is plenty of good stuff out there. You can use an adapter plate just like every other guys uses when going with a carb intake. There is a link to vortec TBI set-ups in the sticky up top.
