Torquer II

My cousin has a (looks like it's never been used) Edelbrock Torquer II intake sitting in his shed amongst many other performance SBC parts. My question is...I've heard from various people that single plane is really the way to go with a TBI setup so I would think that a torquer II would be a great intake for a L03. Correct me if I'm wrong here....please!

Single plane intakes are better for TBI because fuel injection does not lose the low end torque the carb does on a single plane intake. Hood clearance may pose a problem as well make sure the intake bolt pattern is the same....

I think I'm picking one up this week, its a low rise intake so i'm hoping clearance won't be an issue.
