TBI Upgrades

I have a 91 RS with the 305 TBI. I would like to get around 300 horsepower out of this engine but do not know where to start. This engine would be my first buildup so the more bolt-ons I could use to achieve this and the less difficult the better. I just need to know what parts and where to start.

It takes a lot to get those kind of numbers with our engines. Read all the New to TBI stickies on the top of this forum they'll be helpfull.

Welcome to the forum!

Ah yes... I remember coming here at first and having your goal. Here's where you are at now: 170HP. You are talking about doubling that.

Most folks will tell you to take that money you have to spend to get to 300HP with your 305 and just buy a 350. You'll end up spending less and have a lot easier time reaching your performance goals.
