Nitrous

Does Anyone Have Pictures of a carburated plate system which has been modified for use with TBI. Iwas wondering if I could use the NX "Gemini Twin" system. Thanks

i know ther is a kit made for tbi trucks. as far as the plate i would think you would need some way to get more fuel into the engine. since we don't have a vacuum assisted fpr. and some nitrous kits work off of those.

I am going to put an adjustable fuel pressure regulator on. Anyways the nitrious system has it own fuel supply since it is a wet system.

You can use it as long as you have a carb intake manifold and an adapter plate. Just install the nitrous plate between the manifold and the adapter plate and change fuel jet's according to fuel pressure.

I've had no problems, I'm running the NOS Super-Powershot system on mine. Reason I went this route, is that I got a carb system for Cheap...

here's a rundown.

Due to the height on the plate + adaptor, the bolts holley supplied with my adaptor were to short... Solution, I went to studs in the inkake, that were the correct lenght.

Plate installed.

Adaptor plate on.

Here is a shot, you can see where the spray bars site.

We had to do some 'modification' to the TB to get it to bolt in, along with micro switch, and the new studs. Nothing a grinder can't solve.

And finaly... A shot of where I mounted the bottle.

All in all, it goes on pretty easily, grinding on the TB to clearance for the mircro-switch was the biggest PIA.
