LT1 cam swap in 2 days?
LT1 cam swap in 2 days?
ok i have weekends to work on the car, and i have the cam, so i was thinking of pulling the valve covers and TB, and intake off then loosen the rockers so the the push rods can move up then vise grip the lifters and pull them up so i wont have to take off the heads, or headers to pull the cam and put one in ... anyway what all will i need to do this cam swap in less then 2 days because its my daily driver, what tools will i need and any advice before i attempt this ... never done a in motor cam swap in a 3rdgen... i assume i have to pull the radiator and front clip what all has to be done?
i would like a step by step, iv done things like this before half planed and it takes twice as long so ya.... just want this to be a 2 day swap not a 2 week one.... i think all be fine with out a tune for a few weeks if i even get i new chip, i guess this is a worth wild swap from the peanut cam, but i have yet to see and feel the difference
