short cam swap Q's
I got a 94 trans am lt1 camshaft along with the comp cams 249-981-16 valvesprings to do my swap. Besides timing chain and gaskets and all, would there be any advantage to putting in new pushrods while i have the engine apart? Do those springs and that cam sound like a good combo? Should be if i read the sticky's right. Probably put a edelbrock TBI performer manifold on while im doing it... But the big question is would it be worth the expense to get some new pushrods...
Also, is there any advantage to running 1.6 roller rockers?

you shouldn't need new pushrods, since you are using the same lifters, heads and valves, the geometry should not be changed. it wouldn't hurt to check while the engine is apart, but it shouldn't be an issue.
