If you plan on running the stock exhaust manifolds for now, get yourself some 3/8 plugs, and plug the air injection threads (there's four on each exhaust manifold).
Make sure you get yourself a smog pump delete pulley, so if don't already have one.... keep the pump (acting as only a pulley now) on there until you do.
Tuck the two diverter valve connectors (they're apart of you're harness, do not cut them off) somewhere where they will not get burned.
As for the rest of the "emissions crap", (EGR, Cat-Con etc..), keep it on, you're not going to see that big of a difference (if there's even any) in 1/4 mile times. Plus, it's kinda
to be pro-environment... Junior Member

After removing all the "crap" myself and then going through all the
to try to get the car inspected i found it not worth it at all to remove it. The only thing i gained was it made it easier to change the spark plugs.

So basically, take off my smog pump and not worry about the other stuff because I can pass emmisions w/o a pump but not w/o the other stuff? Btw, I live in Mass so for emissions laws, I don't know that it would make a difference with there is all or part of it off

The bolt on the back also holds a ground for the block. I can't remember size but for some reason I think it was 9/16, however, you know it's probably a 10 or 13mm. It wasn't that hard for me, except it took a lot of quarter turns.
