I spent may hours trying to get rid of my tacky stock brackets, but nothing seemed to line up in the descriptions and years, so confusing so I stopped looking.

Short and Long pump easy ID, if you can stick your hand behind the pump than its long, if its real close to the timing cover its short.

grrr. another gen3 tbi snafu!!! sick of computers, electronics, emissions, and lockup converters!!.

so i was considering buying a new water pump for the car just to solve this thing but im guessing its not that simple, anyone have an idea on a stock water pump from maybe a caprice or something that would bolt up and have the accessory bosses or the bolt setup to work with this stuff?

Hee hee. K if you take your stock bracket on the pass. side, hack it in half and use parts from the march kit (everything BUT the bracket) you can make a pretty trick mid alternator mount system.
