adjust timing to lean out engine?
can i adjust my timing back to 0 lean it out because right now my exhaust smells heavily of gasoline. right now it's set at about 3-4* adv. any helps to lean out my engine is appreciated.

The ECM will adjust the AF ratio no matter what your timing is at. You need to figure out why your car is running rich and not just band aid it. Has the car had a good tune up? You could have a bad CTS and or 02 sensor as well as bad/worn out ignition components.
