Nice.

How is that head swap treating you? Was it worth it?

The head swap was really worth it, it adds a totaly diff. sound to the 305, with out a doubt tunning is needed though. The intake was a bargin brand new vortec to to tbi intake with 2" bores for 140$ plus shipping on ebay. The car sounds louder than ever with the dual bullets
They are new 062 castings shaved .030 with 350 head gaskets.

If not the 305 gasket will hang into the chamber. I use 350 gaskets on overbored 305s anyway. I used a pair of ported 193s on a superchaged 305 camaro a while back. The 350 gaskets are the ones to use.

Go into mspaint and shrink as needed untill its under 100K. also make sure its a jpeg or some other compressed format.

Stretch/skew. You can select it as percentages. Less then 100% shrinks in direction specified.

i think it is. summit 14 x2. there is a stock TBI spacer(1/2") under to allow throttle linkage to clear. the nut on top just rubs slightly.

well i'd barely want to post this otherwise but, since i'll be having new blue coactual covering stuff and a new chrome waterpump, valve covers, chrome wingnut and other chrome i'll post it just as a before and after refrence for everyones eyes.

ps. i've got a new chrome pcv valve and breather as of now, and will be waiting on valve cover untils later in the winter at which time i'll repost (i'm buying 1.6 roller rockers before the valve covers so i don't have to remove and reinstall them 2xs).

my enginebay is surface rusty and nasty looking still but, it's about 10x's as good as it was before...

Figured i'd throw in a pic of my slight progress, it's dirty unfortunately but, a clean engine bay is going to have to wait until spring it seems.

Those hmmm Comp valve covers, the composite ones, are very prone to cracking correct ?

Little off topic but it crossed my mind, lookign at pics and at the same time thinking about shredding weight
