Idel, burn out :( ?

what the hell, i put it in gear and she wants to go! i mean go! i set the RPMs on idle to 1,250 cold, right when i put it in gear the Camaro feels like it got reared and then you hear the tires move for a few secs, even on closed loop at 850rpms same deal, i just don't know what the deal is, i think it might be the shift kit, but anyone else have this happen, brakes etc are newer everything else is good, extpe it wanting to lanch to the next world!!

My shift kit will pretty much chirp the tires if I try to put it in gear at the high of an RPM, and I have a 2000 RPM stall conv. You really need to drop that a little lower. If it's still pretty violent at 750-850 rpm, it might just be your shift kit. Only thing I can suggest is a looser stall. You don't have a B&M kit do ya? The one I had was brutal at part throttle, and not that impressive at WOT. Transgo is much better.

Have you checked your TV cable adjustent? If its only harsh in drive and not reverse then thats a good sign its a misadjusted TV cable. You want to set the cable for MAXIMUM tension at WOT. This will ensure there is adiquate tension at idle, and more importantly WOT. If Im not mistaken if theres inadiquate tension with the throttle closed full line pressure will be set.
