Based on the pcitures that you linked to me in a PM I would say that you have the right cam. You can't say for sure but what you have appears to be a gen II cam. It is a hydraulic roller cam and it does not have a fuel pump lobe. It looks like you will be fine.

Yes, you have a Gen II LT1 cam indeed, and it is out of a 94 Camaro. This is indicated by the 241 stamped at the end of the code. There were also 242's made, but these were made at the end of 96 and were considered the H.O version. The actual part number doesnt appear on the GMParts cams, so you have to search or google the code listed on the cam.

The cam you have is Stock. The lift for that particular cam and year is .450 and .460, so you should be fine. The stock heads on the TBI 305 in camaros can take up to .480, but wouldnt recommend trying that high. If you have a high mileage engine, then I would invest in some new valve springs. If your engine has 100,000 miles on it, then those springs have never had to go higher than a stock cam, and now, all of a sudden they're going to .460. SO that may be a good investment. As for the #13...no idea:-)

oh yeah i know what the lift for that cam is i just wasnt sure it was the cam i thought since i had thought all cams have the casting number on the end for the lt1 cam, and i could not find the casting number i found on a list for that year none of them had letters or that format of a number like this cam i got does, if that makes since....i guess i was wrong. becuase that number was not on the end it was right before the first lobe on the dow pin end. and oh yeah i plan on getting some new springs. im weary of goin w/ the z28 springs though because ive heard bad things about k-motion ones and some say the z28 ones are the same way. but they machinist i took them to will be doin the valve job and said those springs are good to .500 lift and that still leaves alot of room so its not like id be pushing them to the max or anything. but thanks for that info i was worried for a min.
