Cop car prom
I have a 92 Firebird with a freshly installed LO5 engine with LT4 cam, Cop car injectors, Edelbrock intake & headers so I would like know what year a 9C1 prom I can use until I burn me a chip while dodging hurricanes here in Lousiana. Hehehe! Thanks!

1989-1990 VIN code 7 (5.7, 350) LO5 engine for the Caprice 9C1 police package copcar. IIRC it's an ANLU for the 8746.... as used in late model 3rdgens.
The 91-93 Bcars (Caprice, Roadmaster, Olds Custom Cruiser) cars use a different ECM (16136965).
1MEAN92RS has a nice post here that summarizes fullsize GM copcar use from 1985 onward.. well up to the end of the TBI copcars. I think the only thing he got wrong was the use of 8746 in 1991. In the copcar Caprice, IIRC, it was 89-90.
